Founded by a group of dedicated Junglists out of New York City in the year 2002, Bassbot was the out cry of the few people who provided an alternative to the mainstream club scene of the time. Gaining a more political will, supporting local talent, hosting donation events and never turning anyone away for lack of funds, Bassbot build a beloved community amongst many and has gained international recognition for pushing our culture to a higher level, merging activism, art and music.

Since 2004 the Bassbot Sound System headed by Emperor has traveled through out the greater North American Continent on a camo painted school bus that ran on recycled waste vegetable oil dubbed the BASS BUS,  establishing cells in places like San Francisco CA, Portland OR and Atlanta GA. Functioning as a not for profit sound system, the rig is dedicated to cultivating, promoting and supporting  the voice of activist communities, independent artists & sub-culture electronic music.
